What I learned today — 26 January 2018

Today was full of meetings, but in between it all I attended a talk by Dean Furman, author of Unleashing the Exponential Potential. He had a lot to say about becoming a learn-it-all, someone who is constantly learning, but my key take away was that whatever it is your trying to do, start (and continue) by understanding what tools already exist that will take you where you need to go. For example, if you need an info graphic, don’t just hire a design agency right out of the starting blocks, first see if a tool like Canva exists and can give you what you need, even if it is just to get you started.
